New Books 2013

News from the librarian

It's with a sad but hopeful heart that I say good-bye to Clear Creek H.S. and CCISD. I've been with the district for twenty years as a librarian.

I began my career at Wedgewood Elementary in Friendswood which opened that year with 950 students grades PK-6. It was a challenging four years as I was a former high school English teacher and had no elementary training.

I then moved to Clear Brook High School working with Lynn Marchesi and then Michelle Buckley. I stayed at Brook for seven years. When Mary Clark retired from Clear Creek H.S., I tranferred here and worked with first Janel Salmen, then with Danna Kubacak. I have been here for nine years.

I have been very blessed to be with such a fine district, but now I'm off for a new adventure to another great district in Conroe ISD. I will be the librarian at Caney Creek High School---still CCHS, but changing from Wildcats to Panthers. I will miss the outstanding faculty and student body at Creek, but I look forward to meeting new people and helping to inspire the love of reading in new patrons.

Keep reading Wildcats!!!! You'll always be in my heart.

God Bless,
Mrs. Sanders
