Creepy Craft Success!

Yesterday, we celebrated Teen Read Week with our Creepy Craft program. We had 12 students and one staff member create spooky book bags. It was a lot of fun and the kids asked if we could do crafts again for Christmas! We'll see....

Creepy Craft @ the Library October 17, 2012

The theme for this year's Teen Read Week is "It Came From the Library!"  To celebrate, the library is offering a Creepy Craft day on Wednesday, October 17th, from 2:30-3:30. We'll be decorating spooky book bags so we have something in which to carry all of our scary books! Any interested student needs to sign up in the library between now and October 16th in order to participate. We want to make sure we have plenty of supplies.

Also, on Thursday October 11th from 11:00-12:00, the library will be showing a live webcast of author J.K. Rowling announcing a new Harry Potter reading club. The webcast is sponsored by Scholastic. Students may stop in during their lunch and sneak a peak.
