Open Mike Poetry

During lunches on April 30, the library held an Open Mike Poetry reading. While students were reading and listening they could enjoy a Vanilla or Coffee Frappuccino with whipped topping. Applause after readings was replaced with finger snapping as it was done in the 1960s. Some poetry was free-styled, read from their phone, or read from script. Ms. Graham and Mrs. Othon shared their poetic talents as well. A Natalie Merchant CD was given away in a drawing. The winner of the CD was Roberto.
